Reservations

At Kaiyō Restaurant and Rooftop Bar, the Nikkei journey unfolds across two distinct spaces. On the first floor, Kaiyō Restaurant offers a full-service dining experience where Japanese technique meets bold Peruvian flavors. Enjoy fresh ceviche, sushi, hand rolls and signature entrées in a beautiful setting alongside an elevated cocktail program.

Reservations are available for guests in our main dining room, bar seating, sushi counter, or our private dining room for a truly memorable experience.

Reservations for up to 12 guests can be requested within 14 days of the date. We have a two-hour seating time limit. All parties must be present to be seated. We will hold reservations up to 15 minutes past the scheduled reservation time.  

Twelve floors above, Kaiyō Rooftop Bar is a tropical oasis in the sky featuring a more casual, yet refined experience. Lush greenery, rich textures, skyline views, and a cocktail-forward menu set the scene for an unforgettable night out in San Francisco.

Stay warm during winter under our covered bar with blankets, hot drinks, and industrial heaters. KAIYŌ Rooftop is a 21+ space.

Once the sun sets, SF weather changes drastically and quickly, so please dress for comfort. KAIYŌ Rooftop has heaters, blankets, and windshield panels to keep our guests as warm as possible.

KAIYŌ RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL RESERVATIONS DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS INCLUDING RAIN AND STRONG WIND. WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO ACCOMMODATE OUR GUESTS AT THE NEXT AVAILABLE DATE.
